We are currently recruiting a Scenic Production Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our talented team.
You will be responsible for the management and production of designs and technical drawings, overseeing projects through from initial quotation to final delivery and leading teams onsite.
You must be proficient in Autocad and have an excellent working knowledge of construction techniques and large format print, preferably with a background in scenery for theatrical / television / live events. You must be keen to learn and develop your expertise continually, meticulous and thorough in your work and have excellent interpersonal skills. Due to the nature of the live events industry working hours will be flexible and will include evening and weekend work.
Understanding of health and safety in the live events industry
Strong practical knowledge of scenic carpentry
Creative problem solving
With an immediate start, this role is a permanent contract based on 40 hours a week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required. Specifics to be discussed at interview. Salary offered will be dependent on experience.

Broadsword are on the lookout for a charismatic Production Manager to join our growing band of energetic event professionals.

The world of live events is an exciting area in which to be involved; you’ll need to be adaptable, motivated and responsive, ‘a safe pair of hands’ for our customers and exceed expectations, time and time again.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a technical background within the AV industry and at least 2 years of production management experience in a similar role. We will also consider candidates from a technical manager role, venue management role or a similar position.
Salary – Negotiable based on experience

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse and Workshop Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our talented team.
As Warehouse and Workshop Manager you will be responsible for taking the lead across these areas of the business. You will ideally come from an AV company or production agency with experience of managing an AV warehouse environment. Knowledge of technical equipment is desirable. Candidates must be a team player and have the confidence to implement efficiencies and guide the wider team.
